Dr. Matheny is not signed up with any insurance companies and does not accept assignment from insurance providers.  This means he does not accept fees paid by insurers.  Patients are asked to pay for services by cash, check, or credit card.  An insurance form is available to patients.  Patients may submit this form to their insurance provider for reimbursement from the insurer directly to the patient.  Since Dr. Matheny has the MD credential, many insurers will cover a portion of the fees for services from an 'out-of-network' provider.

Exception:

Medicare does not cover alternative health services, including homeopathy.  All Medicare patients need to be aware of this when making an appointment for homeopathic care.  Medicare has provided Dr. Matheny with a Denial of Service letter.  If Medicare patients would like to submit a claim to their secondary insurer, Dr. Matheny will provide a Medicare Denial of Service letter that needs to accompany the insurance submission to the secondary insurer.    Further questions can be discussed with Dr. Matheny
